Yes, New York City is the place where you can find any cuisine your heart craves, but there’s nothing more satisfying during these cold winter months than a burger paired with a pint of craft beer. Well, look no further than 5 Napkin Burger. They recently partnered with local craft beer company Captain Lawrence, for a scrumptious winter event.

The event paired some of the best seasonal craft beers with 5 Napkin Burger’s signature dishes. If you have never been to 5 Napkin Burger, this could be a fun reason to discover a new burger joint. For $50, diners got a selection of appetizers like the Pimento Cheese Potato Skins and Richie’s Beer Mac & Cheese, as well as a choice of a variety of juicy burgers like the signature 5 Napkin – 10 oz. of freshly-ground beef with Gruyere cheese, caramelized onions topped with rosemary aioli. Each course, even dessert, was paired with a full pint of a Captain Lawrence brew. A hefty appetite was required to finish everything.

Captain Lawrence Liquid Gold was paired with the Pimento Cheese Potato Skins and Richie’s Beer Mac & cheese; the seasonal Captain Lawrence Meltwater IPL was paired with Meltwater India Pale Lager, which is crisp and refreshing. Finally, Captain Lawrence Hopsomniac IPA was paired perfectly with the Ice Cream Sandwiches.

Located in Elmsford, New York, Captain Lawrence is a brewery founded by beer enthusiast, Scott Vaccaro. They brew many tasty year-round, seasonal and specialty craft beers. Stop by 5 Napkin Burger and pick up the Meltwater India Pale Lager while you still can.
