Holiday Gift Guide for the Wine Lover

by

Whether is be a Christmas gift, hostess present, or just because, wine always make a great gift. Below you can find some of our favorite finds for this holiday season. Best of all, you can also just buy a bottle for yourself…because, why not?!

Artesa

Artesa Vineyards & Winery, located in the Carneros region of Napa Valley, California, recently released their signature wine, Artesa Carneros Pinot Noir 2012, just in time for the holidays. This amazing wine is medium bodied with a long finish, giving drinkers tastes of strawberry and cherry, with hints of caramel and oak. It is a pleasure to drink and only costs $25.

chandon

It doesn’t get more festive than this. Chandon is selling a limited edition ‘Holiday Sparkles’ bottle, that is beautifully packaged. Chandon has also partnered with Sephora to offer their golden Sparklebomb nail polish packaged with the bottle. This amazing nail polish and holiday bottle gift set is yours for only $28.

wine soap

It’s never too early for some wine with Uncommon Goods Wine Soap! These all-natural vegan and gluten-free soaps use familiar scents and oils to create the subtle fragrances of their respective wines. The set of four includes fragrances such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and more and sells for $28.

skinnygirl

Skinnygirl recently came out with four new amazing low calorie wines; a perfect girl for the holidays! No matter who you are buying a gift for, they have a wine that will impress anyone. Whether it be their wonderfully sweet Pino Grigio the dark, full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon, the crisp Chardonnay, or the bubbly Prosecco, all of these flavors are surprisingly delicious, especially for low calorie wine. Give the gift of a slimmer waist this holiday season!

berlucchi brut 61

Known as one of the best sparkling wines around, Berlucchi, the Italian empire, has been around for over 50 years. A beautiful gift to give this season is the Franciacorta ’61, which pays tribute to the year in which Franciacorta was born. We love the Brut, which is comprised of 90& Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Noir. This bubbly beverage has subtle hints of apple and pear and it wonderfully delicious.

sterling winesterling_pinot_noir_carneros_1024x1024

Sterling Vineyards, located in Napa Valley, California, produce some amazing California varietals. For anyone who loves a good Cali wine, Sterling is right up their alley. If you are looking for a white, we recommend the Napa Valley Chardonnay, which showcases sweet oak spices and a crisp taste. If you prefer reds, go with their Pinot Noir, Carneros ’11, which has dark red fruits and toasty oak aromas.

sequin wine

Sequin Wines are a fun and unusual product, with subtle bubbles in each bottle and a slightly lower alcohol content than your average wines. These wines come in three exciting flavors — Moscato, Pinot Grigio, and Rosé. Not only are these wines great on their own, but they can also spruce up any wine cocktail!

Cheers!
