Move over Grey Goose and Kettle One, there’s a new spirit in town that not only captures the classic vodka taste, but is also committed to giving back to charities. Marquis Vodka, one of the fastest growing spirit brands in the world, is being introduced to restaurants, nightclubs and bars throughout New York.

Known as “The Virtuous Vice,” Marquis Vodka has a common belief that a world of vice should be tempered by virtue and is committed to donate 20% of its retail revenue to its charitable partners. Revolutionizing the way of how philanthropic work is done, consumers who purchase a bottle of Marquis Vodka can download the charitable app and scan the QR code on the bottle.

Once someone scans the code, you are then prompted to select one of four charities to direct the donation. The charitable partners include Meals On Wheels, The Trevor Project, Worldwide Orphans and Footprints. One bottle is equalviant to one hot meal delivered to a senior citizen for Meals on Wheels, a TrevorText conversation helping LGBT youth in crisis for the Trevor Project, a full day of education and nourishment for an orphan with HIV in Ethiopia for Worldwide Orphans and one maternity kit to a pregnant woman in the Congo for Footprints.

Crafted at a small artisan distillery in Poland, Marquis Vodka takes pride in a classic distillation method that makes them stand out from the competition. The process begins with hand-selected rye and is distilled in a one hundred year old copper still. Following a classic distillation method, Marquis Vodka has a character that is distinctive compared to the competition. Once it reaches 100% alcohol by volume it is simply filtered four times through classic charcoal methods to remove any remaining impurities and is finally cut with 60% water from their distillery’s ancient limestone aquifer.

The next time you go out to the club, grab a drink at your favorite bar, or visit one of New York’s finest restaurants, ask for Marquis Vodka and note the difference in taste from your regular spirit. Packaged in a black frosted bottle with its silver embossed logo, Marquis Vodka is one that cannot be duplicated.

“Marquis Vodka is in stark contrast to the outdated and historically inaccurate trend of overly distilled vodka. This misguided trend robs the vodka of taste, texture and smell leaving behind a spirit void of character,” stated Jack Guy, CEO of Libertine Spirits USA.

“We are very proud to craft a spirit that honors the artisans before us and brings truth and distinction back to vodka,” he said.
