Few places in the world are as magical as Spain. The culture, the people, the language and the sights are something to behold. I was lucky enough to study abroad in Spain during college and it will always hold a special place in my heart. During my travels around the country, one of the top spots I visited was the city of Madrid. As one of the most bustling and famous cities in Spain, there is no shortage of things to do in Madrid.

Admire the architecture and history of stunning churches and buildings throughout the city, shop and eat around the Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol, and take special care to try some of their famous delicacies. Passing up on traditional paella or patatas bravas would be a sin! For those really looking to embrace the history and culture of the city, there is no shortage of museums, galleries, and tours to guide you through Madrid.

And don’t forget to spend at least one night out on the town. The late night revelry in Madrid is much more fun and festive than here in America — from cocktail bars to live music to shows and discotheques, there is plenty of fun to be had.

If you seek additional adventure, take in a live flamenco show, a bull fight, or if it’s fútbol season, make sure to take in a game! Watching a live Real Madrid game would be something really special. If this sounds like a trip that’s up your alley (and why wouldn’t it be?), then make sure to enter this competition to Win an extraordinary weekend trip for two to Madrid!

And don’t forget to watch and share the video below!
