A New Urbanspace Opens Up in Midtown

Urbanspace is known for its public markets around the city, with locations on Vanderbilt Avenue, Times Square, Garment District, and is responsible for Broadway Bites, Madison Square Eats, and an array of pop-up holiday markets. Now, there’s a new Urbanspace in the city at 570 Lexington Avenue, on the corner of 51st Street.

Housed in the historic General Electric Building, the new food hall has 16 different vendors and two floors, the top of which has plenty of seating. With so many different dining options to choose from, it’s a great place to go with friends and co-workers who have different tastes. Here’s what you can find:

INDAY Go Go: This spot focuses on fresh, seasonal ingredients to comprise an Indian inspired menu that is 100% gluten-free.

Tuck Shop: This Australian inspired spot is known for its savory pies and sausages.

Trapizzino: Specializing in street food from Rome, Trapizzino combines the triangular-shaped sandwich with pizza dough and fills it with numerous different tasty fillings.

Roberta’s: A place that needs no introduction, get some great, hot pizza here.

Go Fish Sushi Box: This one is self explanatory, serving fresh, affordable sushi.

Bob White Lunch and Supper Counter: Southern cuisine reigns supreme here, with fried chicken sandwiches and biscuits galore.

Kuro-Obi: Brought to you by Ippudo, you can get some bomb ramen here without having to wait for hours!

Little Collins: Another Australian inspired spot, where you can find salads, sandwiches, and more.

La Pecora Bianca: This Italian joint is dishing out paninis, salads, breakfast and dessert.

Top Hops Beer Shop: Pull up a seat for some canned or draft beer, wine and small bites.

Taïm: Mediterranean cuisine is served here, including falafel!

Bao by Kaya: This spot is serving up mouthwatering Taiwanese street food.

Dorado Tacos & Quesadillas: You can grab baja California style Mexican cuisine here.

Liquiteria: A big staple in NYC, you can score all your juices, smoothies or acai bowls here.

Rockaway Clam Bar: Clam rolls, lobster rolls, chowder, you name it, they’ve got it. This seafood-centric spot is delish.

Takumi Taco: Japanese inspired Mexican cuisine? Yup, you can find it here!

Urbanspace 570 Lex is open Monday through Saturday from 6:30am until 11pm and Sundays from 7am to 10pm.
