Last week Carolinna Espinosa unveiled their latest collection for Spring 2014. The brand is led by industry veteran Alan Luchette, the former COO at Nine West Group. The brand prides itself on its ability to stay in current fashion, while retaining a modest price ensuring luxury. Creative directors Charles Amar and Gianni Velasche did an incredible job with the collection, making it both edgy and feminine at the same time.
The team incorporated a number of recent trends into the collection, including laser cut style and bold cut-outs. Many of the shoes utilize geometric patterns and cut-outs, placed delicately over a mesh backing. We also loved their modern revival of the Roman gladiator heel. Winding its way up the legs of women everywhere, gladiator heels are the more evening version of the sandal. These sleek and sexy options are perfect for the Spring and will look killer with a dress.
Carolinna Espinosa is also playing with black and white contrast, as well as mixed media. Many of their shoes incorporate zigzagging lines, checkers, or stripe patterns, along with a pop of color. Additionally, for those who appreciated tailored, structured styles, the collection also has quite a few shoes just for you. There are many wedge shoes available, in unique textures like cork and wood.
Another fun detail we loved among the collection was unique heel shapes. Many shoes sported a curved heel, which we absolutely adored. The Carolinna Espinosa Spring 2014 collection is any woman’s dream — its versatile shoes has appeal for everyone, with shoes that are powerful, feminine, fun and elegant.
