Dining Out for Christmas!

Whether you plan on heading out on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day for some mouthwatering food, we have just the spots in New York City that you should be hitting up. Slaving away over the stove over the holidays shouldn’t dampen your high spirits over the holidays so get someone else to do your cooking for you!

Traditional Christmas

Head to Clement at The Peninsula New York for Christmas ($115) and Christmas Eve ($185) dinner. Christmas Eve will have items like chestnut tortellini and venison, with seatings at 5:30pm and 8:30pm, while Christmas Day will feature a four course menu with honey-baked ham, lobster and more, with seatings at 11:45am, 2:30pm and 6:30pm.

Marc Murphy is serving up a $95 prix fixe menu at Kingside with dishes such as seared foie gras and seared Long Island duck breast. The menu will be available on Christmas Day from 4-11pm, along with the regular a la carte menu.

Jay-Z’s The 40/40 Club will be open on Christmas Eve at 5pm and Christmas Day at 12pm, where they will have all the NBA games on their TVs. They are offering a selection of special holiday dishes, including roasted chicken breast, lobster tails and more.

Christmas To-Go

Richard Sandoval’s Raymi is offering Christmas take out for eight to ten people for $300. The dinner includes a 14-16 lb. suckling pig, which is marinated in a special blend of vegetables and spices, along with Russian potato salad, roast brussels sprouts with bacon, and much more. Orders must be placed by December 23rd by 12pm. Place your order by calling Raymi at 212-929-1200.

International Christmas

Go Greek this holiday by celebrating your Christmas Eve at Nerai. The chefs will be offering a four course prix fixe menu for $75 per person. Dishes include canapés, winter salad, lobster yiouvetsi and more.

Mix it up this Christmas at Loreley, who will be featuring German menus on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Loreley is offering customers an insanely affordable three course menu and drink for $25. Dishes include goulash, sauerbraten beef and more. On both days, the menu will be available for bruch from 12pm-4pm and dinner from 4pm-1am.

If you are hankering for a traditional Italian Christmas Eve, head to Louro where you can enjoy their Feast of Seven Fishes. The Feast is available for $85 and features piri pirir shrimp, seafood fritters and more creatures from the sea. You can also enjoy their three course menu for $55, with options such as chestnut soup and suckling pig. These will be available from 5:30pm until 11pm.

Venture to Vienna at Wallsé, where you can enjoy both Christmas and Christmas Eve dinner. The four course prix fixe menu is available for $125 or $220 with wine pairings, including items such as smoked salmon, weiner schnitzel and gingerbread ice cream. It will be served December 24th from 5-11pm and December 25th from 11am-10pm.

While some people enjoy a duck on Christmas, others go straight for the Chinese. BLT Fish is offering a classic Chinese tasting menu for $95, with elegant egg rolls, crab rangoon and more.
