Hip Spot on the LES: Miller’s Near and Far

by

Miller's Near & Far

A cozy reprieve on the Lower East Side, Miller’s Near and Far, caters well to its crowd. The small space is one of the most charming spots you can imagine, with leather banquettes, brick walls, and fun lighting. Manhattan with a Twist poked in last week to find out what this LES haunt is all about. The New American restaurant serves up some seriously delicious bites — from Chilled English Pea Soup and Charred Octopus to Sichuan Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings and the Near & Far Burger, they’ve got both classy and classic eats. Miller’s Near and Far also offers a selection of brews and cocktails. We couldn’t get enough of it!

This place is truly a hidden gem. With barely any signage out front, it’s definitely not hard to walk right past it. But once you find your way inside you will be glad you did. Miller’s gives off a cool retro vibe — from the vintage light bulbs to the succulents, right down to the tv-instead-of-a-mirror in the bathroom. If you’re on the hunt for something a little out there, step inside this spot and let it transform your evening.
