Last Friday, Reign Entertainment Co. held the launch of 3D Art by S. Whittaker and her exhibit, Time Signature. The launch party, which was held at The Top of the Garden, allowed attendees to view amazing works of art by Whittaker, which were oil and acrylic based portraits set on wooden canvas. Her portraits represented infamous entertainers from the past and present, including a young Michael Jackson, Run DMC, Jay-Z, and Marvin Gaye. Whittaker, who was born in Panama, finds inspiration from her current home, Brooklyn. 
Not only were her depictions of iconic entertainers both accurate and creative, but they also held a unique 3D component. Passed out at the event were 3D glasses, which once worn, transformed her paintings and made them pop out of the canvas. Whittaker’s artwork has been praised by both celebrities and art collectors and rightfully so. Her paintings not only capture her subjects’ likeness, but also evoke a certain emotion. We love her new exhibit and can’t wait to see what the future has in store for this bright, young artist!
