Keep Your Cool with These 12 Refreshing Summer Cocktails

Fun in the summer sun often requires more than just you + sunshine. Add a couple outdoor activities, some friends or family and a nice, cold drink and then we can talk. To ensure you’re living up summer to the max, we’ve rounded up some of the tastiest, booziest, and most refreshing cocktails for you to make and enjoy this summer. Now go out there and get shaking!

Q Ginger Beer - Summer Storm

5 ounces chilled Q Ginger Beer
2 ounces Dark Rum
1/4 ounce fresh lime juice
1 ounce chilled pineapple juice
1 pineapple slice, for garnish

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.Add rum and lime juice and shake well. Pour Q Ginger Beer into a highball glass filled with ice, then top with the shaken rum. Garnish with a pineapple slice.

Ras-beery Cooler

1 part Skinnygirl Bare Naked Vodka
1 part chilled beer
2 parts raspberry lemonade concentrate
Lemon wedge or garnish
Lime peel for garnish

Mix all ingredients in a glass. Garnish with a lemon wedge and lime peel.

1 1/4 cup Viva Diva Moscato Pineapple & Coconut
1 cup pineapple juice
1 lb, fresh pineapple, peeled and pureed
1/2 cup tequila
1/4 cup grenadine

Combine and stir Viva Diva Moscato Pineapple & Coconut, pineapple juice, pureed pineapple, and tequila. Fill popsicle wells 3/4 way up with pineapple mixture. Pour 1 teaspoon of grenadine into each well. Place popsicle stick into the center of each mold and let sit over night.

4 oz. AriZona Peach Iced Tea
1 oz. SW4 London Dry Gin
1/2 oz. Elderflower Liqueur
1/2 tsp. Frozen Lemonade Concentrate

Serve over ice and garnish fresh peaches.

2 oz. Pea & Mint Vodka*
1 oz. Michelle Brut
Pea Tendril or Flower
Garnish Tag
*20 oz. Sobieski Vodka
*8 oz. Dolin Dry Vermouth
*2 oz. fresh mint
*1 ea. lemon zest
*6 oz. simple syrup
*10 oz. frozen peas

Chill martini glass. In a boston shaker filled with ice, add 2 oz Pea Vodka. Shake vigorously, strain into martini glass, then fill with Michelle brut. Garnish with pea tendrils, pea flowers, or other edible flowers (temp lemon & mint leaf).

1.5 oz Belvedere Wild Berry
Half a lemon, cut into quarters
1 oz simple syrup
1/4 cup fresh berries (could be blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, raspberries or a combination of any and all.)

In a mixing glass, muddle the lemon quarters and berries with the simple syrup. Add the Belvedere Wild Berry. Top with ice and shake vigorously. Strain contents over ice. Garnish with fresh berries and serve.

1 part Frangelico
2 parts sparkling water
Squeeze of fresh lime

Serve over ice.

1 part Pinnacle Original Vodka
2 parts Lemonade
Splash of DeKuyper Blue Curacao

Mix ingredients and serve over ice.

Sangria Rosa

1 Whole Strawberry
1 Pineapple Cube
1 ½ oz. Sobieski Raspberry
½ oz. Simple Syrup
½ oz. Lime Juice
1 ½ oz. Rosa Regale
1 oz. Soda

Middle one strawberry and one pineapple cube. Combine Sobieski Raspberry, lime juice and simple syrup and shake with ice. Add Rosa Regale and soda and swirl and strain into a 14 oz. glass over ice. Garnish with a pineapple leaf and skewered pineapple and strawberry.

Égalité (Courtesy of Lillet)
2 parts Lillet Rosé
¾ part fresh squeezed grapefruit juice
½ part fresh squeeze lemon juice
¾ part simple syrup
two dashes of Peychaud’s bitters
soda water
grapefruit wedge

Shake vigorously spirits, juices, and syrup in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into ice-filled Collins-style glass. Top with soda water. Add bitters. Garnish with grapefruit wedge.

1 ½ parts Malibu Black
3 parts pineapple juice
Splash of fresh lime juice
Soda

Pour the ingredients over ice in a rocks glass. Top with soda. Garnish with a lime wedge.

Summer Lovin'

Summer Lovin’ (Courtesy of Sauza Tequila)
1 ½ parts Sauza Blue Silver 100% Agave Tequila
½ parts JDK & Sons™ O3 Premium Orange Liqueur
½ large ripe mango
2 ½ parts fresh orange juice
2 parts lime juice
2 parts simple syrup
½ cups ice
¼ lime
Sugar or Salt for rimming the glasses

Peel, seed and chop your mango. Put all ingredients except for the ice into your blender and blend until smooth. Then add the ice. Prepare your glass by rubbing the rims with a lime wedge and then dipping the rims into a plate of either salt or sugar, depending on what you prefer. Pour the margarita into the prepared glass and enjoy!
