Oh you fancy, huh? Yes, we got fancy during this year’s Manhattan Cocktail Classic, sipping on whiskey andsmoking cigars at Oak & Smoke. Cigar and whiskey lovers alike headed to Nat Sherman‘s near Grand Central, to enjoy a relaxing evening in the smoke den.

Upon entry, guests were treated to a tasty glass of punch and then led further inside to check out the festivities. Light bites were stationed throughout the shop, satiating us drinkers. Guests were treated to a whiskey tasting with Hillrock Estate Master Distiller Dave Pickerell, which featured Solera Aged Bourbon, Single Malt Whiskey, Double Cask Rye and George Washington Distillery Rye Whiskey-Estate Edition. As attendees mixed and mingled with whiskey in hand, they were also able to check out Nat Sherman’s incredible range of cigars, guided by Vice President of Retail & Brand Development and Cigar Expert Michael Herklots. Additionally, Blaine Ashley of CitySip was behind the bar pouring sparkling wine from Freixenet USA.

The festive evening was one of many during this year’s Classic and we look forward to many, many more in 2015.
