Ring in the New Year with Bubbly Cocktails

The countdown to New Year’s eve is on! How are you celebrating?? Champagne and bubbly are par for the course, but that doesn’t mean you can’t jazz it up by mixing up your favorite champagne, prosecco or sparkling wine with some star ingredients to make a delicious cocktail or two.

Rosé Sparkler

4oz Angry Orchard Rosé Cider
1oz Pomegranate Juice
2oz Sparkling Wine

Pour into a wine glass with ice.

1 ½ oz. peppermint vodka
½ oz. vanilla vodka
4 oz. champagne
1 tsp cup crushed peppermint candies
1 jar gold sprinkles for garnish

Rim champagne flute with peppermint vodka, dip into gold sprinkles. Pour ½ oz. vanilla vodka 1 oz. peppermint vodka into flute. Add with 1 tsp crushed peppermint candies. Top off with 4 oz. of your favorite champagne.

35 ml (1 ⅕ oz) Absolut Elyx
10 ml ( ⅓ oz) Raspberry and rose Shrub
15 ml (½ oz) Orange Juice
10 ml (⅓ oz) Disaronno
15 ml (½ oz) Grapefruit Juice
35 ml (1 ⅕ oz) Rose Lemonade

Shake all ingredients. Serve in sling glass. Garnish with dry raspberry powder, smashed meringue, and thyme.

Festive Peppermint Fizz

1 oz. White Crème de Cacao
4 oz. Korbel California Brut
White Chocolate, melted
Peppermint Candy Cane, crushed

Dip the rim of a champagne flute in melted white chocolate, then dip in finely crushed candy cane. Pour crème de cacao into a champagne flute. Top with Korbel.

½ oz Grey Goose Vodka
½ oz plum jam
2 tsp Cointreau
Juice of a quarter of a lime
Top with prosecco

Shake all ingredients (except the prosecco) over ice, strain into Champagne flute and top with prosecco.

4 oz Robert Moncuit Blanc de Blancs
1 oz Grey Goose Vodka
½ oz Sauternes
¼ oz St-Germain
1 grapefruit bitters soaked sugar cube

Blend all ingredients in a coupe glass. Add thin grapefruit twist and serve.

Sparkling Holiday Punch

8 oz. Chambord Liqueur
8 oz. Cranberry Juice
2 chilled bottles Korbel Brut
Cranberries

Pour ingredients into a large punch bowl or pitcher and stir. Top with raspberries or cranberries.

4 oz. Chilled Bolla Prosecco
3 Drops Bitters
2 Sugar Cubes
1 oz. Cognac

Pour bitters onto sugar cube and let soak in, place sugar cube in a Champagne flute. Add Cognac, and top with Bolla Prosecco.
