Rum. It’s so good that it has it’s own national holiday. National Rum Day, which took place this past August, gave us a great excuse to go out and drink some rum. However, since pirates and landlubbers alike have been enjoying rum for centuries, we don’t need an excuse in order to drink it. Last year, we took a class with the famous Master Mixologist Tony Abou-Ganim, where he taught us all about the wonderful Shellback Rum and how to make simple, yet refreshing cocktails with it. This year, we joined Shellback Rum once again at their National Rum Day Pre-Game along with the Dan Patrick Show.

The happy hour, which took place at the newly opened Buffalo Wild Wings in Times Square, not only celebrated National Rum Day, but also the introduction of Shellback Rum cocktails into the Buffalo Wild Wings menu. Created specially for the restaurant chain, these cocktails are light, smooth and go down easy. Since football season officially begins today, it’s the perfect time to stop by any Buffalo Wild Wings location, watch the games, eat some wings, and wash it down with something boozy.
