Before the fun begins and drinks are passed around, the moments leading up to that first sip can be stressful. What should you wear? Where is the latest New York hotspot? Are you overdressed for that place? Are you hot or not? Accomplished model and foodie Teresa Moore tackles those questions with her new blog Teresa Tastes.

“TeresaTastes only features the best and coolest in New York,” she said during the launch party at Beauty & Essex. She hopes to guide readers to know the current, cool and guaranteed great meals for many price points. “We also help readers know what to wear to restaurants and how each chef matches with different designers that are both thinking along the same line of ingredients, designs and materials,” she said.

As guests walked through the back door of the iconic pawn shop, they were served drinks courtesy of Belvedere Vodka and some of Beauty & Essex’s signature hors d’oeuvres. Samsung Tablets were passed around so people could read the blog.

Beauty and Essex is a total experience, from the pawn shop entrance,” Moore said, “to the maximalist dining room with chandeliers, great cocktails and killer food thats great for sharing in a fun party setting.”
