Let’s face it, Times Square is the last place that comes to mind when a New Yorker wants a night of cocktails and dancing. But restaurateur and owner of IndieFork, Matt Levine, seeks to change that. Levine and his team have taken over the W Times Square Living Room and it is not to be missed.

Matt Levine has been on the scene since 2008 and is the mastermind behind the highly successful The Handy Liquor Bar and Chalk Point Kitchen. The W’s now swanky bar has been renovated to match its swanky guests. The décor is not the only thing that has changed. The cocktail menu has been given a chic make-over, as well. Supporting local New York businesses, Levine partnered with companies like Catskill Distilling, Ithaca Beer and Brooklyn Gin to incorporate into their cocktail menu. Some of the creative cocktails include homemade infused syrups ranging from habanero vermouth to sangria simple syrup. The newly-styled Living Room features a disco-ball-styled DJ booth, inspired by the famed Times Square New Year’s Eve Ball, and the booth will host several of the most talented downtown DJs.
