Last year, the Rosé Mansion pop-up had New Yorkers flocking to its rooms to snap selfies, drink wine and play in inside its walls that catered to a millennial pink-loving audience. The pop-up was so successful that it has returned to a new location! Twice as big as last year’s sold out pop-up, the new iteration is comprised of fourteen rooms, where guests can learn all about wine, try different types and styles of rosé from around the world, and snap some Insta-worthy content in each decked out room.

Manhattan with a Twist was on scene for their opening to see what all of the fuss was about. Here’s what you can expect:

The main waiting area to go in looks like an airline waiting lounge from the 1960s, but more colorful, and way more fun.

Each room has its own unique spin on wine — some highlights included a room resembling Cleopatra’s Palace, a Moulin Rouge dressing room, and an optical illusion lake. In each room, you’ll learn about what ties it in to rosé wine, and some rooms even have information on the process of making wine.

The staff at the Rosé Mansion are super friendly and knowledgable. Equipped with a bottle of rosé, they will gladly tell you about its origin and tasting notes, but beware — the staff are not allowed to snap any photos for you so make sure to bring your own entourage for photo taking.

One of the rooms is decked out like a life-size Candyland board, except the goal of the game is to find out how sweet you like your wine. Answer questions to make your way through the board and you’ll end up at a bar, where the server will give you a taste of either a sweet, semi-sweet, or dry rosé. Here, you can also read about the reasoning behind your preferences, encoded in your DNA.

Once you wind your way through all of the rooms, the fun continues. You’ll wind up in RoséLand, where you can purchase bottles or glasses of your favorite wines, lounge in cabanas, a treehouse, take pics on a Rosé Mansion marquee and more. Taco Dumbo has set up shop inside, serving up delicious tacos for you to snack on, and there are plenty of other surprises in store for you.
