Time for Fashionistas to Flock to Spice Market

Spice Market

With Fashion Week right around the corner it’s no wonder that all of New York City is preparing to accommodate those who love fashion. No exception is stylish and ever delicious Spice Market, whose chef, Anthony Ricco, has developed a vegetarian tasting menu to cater to the fashion community.  The menu was designed to capture the essence of the restaurant’s Southeast Asian street food concept, with enticing flavors and hearty options. Diners who purchase the menu will also receive a complimentary ‘Fashion Fizz’ cocktail to celebrate Fashion Week, as well as the launch of the new menu. Diners can look forward to purchasing the menu for $48, which includes:

Avocado summer roll, sriracha and dill
Mushroom egg roll, galangal dipping sauce
Sweet corn soup, Thai basil dumplings
Crispy grain salad, tamarind vinaigrette
Roasted seasonal vegetables, green curry sauce
Seasonal vegetable fried rice, garlic chive and chili
Ovaltine kulfi, caranalized banana, spiced chocolate sauce
Shaved watermelon ice, Thai chili syrup

Manhattan with a Twist was able to taste some of the great new dishes last week and we can ensure you that you will be pleased! The avocado summer roll was light and refreshing, the corn soup warm and hearty, and the vegetable fried rice was a real winner. Even the Fashion Fizz cocktail sticks with the vegetarian theme. If you can’t make it out during Fashion Week, make one at home!
