Where to Celebrate Valentine’s Day in New York City

Planning a special evening for Valentine’s Day can be stressful, and with so many fabulous restaurants in New York City, it can be hard to narrow down where to go. We’ve rounded up some of our favorite dining deals happening for this romantic holiday to make it easier.

The Beekman is one of the most charming spots in Manhattan and Tom Colicchio’s restaurant Temple Court is serving up a 5 course prix fixe menu for $119/person (optional wine pairing for $70). Menu highlights include Peeko oysters, sweet potato agnolotti, venison Wellington, chocolate truffle and more.

Head to The Sea Grill for a three course dinner, complete with dish options like black bass, confit salmon, red snapper and more. Pair it with a glass of one of their featured champagnes and a skate at Rockefeller Center and you’re in for one romantic evening!

What could be more picturesque than dining among the flowers at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden? Yellow Magnolia Café is offering up a $69 three course menu in the Aquatic House, with options like sunchoke sformato, duo of lamb and macadamia ricotta. Plus, you will have special access to the Bonsai Museum!

Everyone loves an aphrodisiac on Valentine’s Day and Ed’s Lobster Bar knows how to deliver. They’ll be serving $2 oysters all night long from the raw bar, plus there will be special V-Day deals like $30 lobster, half off bottles of champagne, and a specialty cocktails, all available February 14-17.

If you call Queens home, Astoria’s DiWine Restaurant & Wine Bar is your spot to spend V-Day this year. They are celebrating with a Jazz era Valentine’s Day, which includes a prix fixe menu ($65 for one, $120 for two people). The menu will include some of the restaurant’s most popular dishes, along with two themed cocktails — the Glitter Valentine and Jack Rose. From 8-11pm, The Chris Beaudry Trio will entertain guests with their smooth, romantic music.

Last but not least, if you’re looking for something a little more casual, Clinton Hall is sure to hit the spot with it’s special Heart on Fire pretzel ($14), which is a giant, heart-shaped pretzel coated in spicy Doritos! Yup, you can score this mega munchie from February 11-17.
