Discover New Zealand’s Manuka Honey with Wedderspoon

by

Manuka 16 -1One of my best friends lives in New Zealand and when I had the opportunity to visit her there, I obviously learned all about the country’s infamous Manuka honey. It’s produced solely in New Zealand by bees that polinate the Manuka bush and it’s one of the most beneficial forms of honey you can find.

Wedderspoon is the top selling Manuka honey brand in North America and uses KFactor, which is a New Zealand-approved system for rating and verifying Manuka quality. The higher the KFactor, the higher the percentage of pollen grains in the honey that are Manuka pollen grains.

Manuka honey not only tastes phenomenal, but has numerous benefits, like helping with acid reflux, IBS, allergies, and sore throats. It helps to combat staph infections, boosts immunity, and helps to treat wounds. Manuka honey is known to prevent tooth decay and gingivitis, improve sleep and boosts overall health. Not only that, but it’s commonly used as a beauty treatment and may even help with acne and eczema.

Not only can you top your toast with Manuka honey and drizzle it into your smoothies and protein shakes, but you can also use it as a face mask! Not going to lie, we tried this face mask and woke up to smooth, shining skin.

Not only have I loved using this as face mask, but its addition to my daily snacks and meals is not only tasty, but healthy. We also love that they have mini travel packs that make it super easy to add to your tea or drinks on the go.
