Master Purveyors was founded by Sam Solasz back in 1957, and along with his two sons Scott and Mark, the family business began to grow. The three oversee all aspects of production — from inspecting the meat to hand selecting cuts and weighing and tailoring each cut to perfection. The business, which is located in the Bronx, includes a 1,600 sq. ft. dry aging room, where chefs come to hand select the products they use in their restaurants.

This summer, the company will be expanding their services, allowing consumers to buy their meats directly through their new e-commerce website. If meat happens to be your middle name, you will now have the opportunity to order Master Purveyors’ high quality, fresh meats right to your home.
