Jack Tripper SundaeOoh la la ! Sugar and Plumm is launching a new concept this Friday called The Back Room at Sugar and Plumm. Located just around the corner from it’s Bleecker Street location, the Back Room will showcase insanely delicious milkshakes, smoothies and ice cream sundaes. The new spot will also feature ebelskivers, handmade Danish pancake pops in flavors such as Apple Caramel, Berry Jam, and Ham & Gruyere and Tomato Mozzarella. You can score two of these pops for $5, four for $9 or six for $14. Sundae selections include Mish Mosh, made with chocolate ice cream, Oreo crumbs, blondie bits, potato chips, gummy bears and fudge sauce and Strawberry Fool, made with strawberry ice cream, fresh strawberries, blondie bits and white chocolate pearls. Milkshakes are all the rage with options such as the Fluffernutter, made with peanut butter swirl ice cream and house-made marshmallows and the Candy Shop, made with vanilla ice cream, rainbow sprinkles and candy man’s choice. For the first time, smoothies will be introduced to the menu, allowing guests to create their own healthy combinations by adding super foods such as fresh aloe, protein and Vitamin C. The Back Room will feature stools, table seating and outdoor benches to enjoy the warm summer weather.

The Back Room at Sugar and Plumm is located at 36 Cornelia St.
