Long before Blair Waldorf brought them into fashion, macarons have been a decadent dessert staple, not just in France, but around the world. Master Pâtissier Francois Payard has put a new spin on the macaron for summer, introducing a fusion between the classic ice cream sandwich and the Parisian macaron. Even more tasty than you are currently imagining, the sandwiches include marbled ice cream and sorbet enveloped between macaron shells. The cool treats are available in flavors such as pistachio raspberry, coconut mango, salted caramel and passion fruit cheesecake. The $5 snacks are available at all New York City Francois Payard Bakery and FP Patisserie locations.
