Add Some Treats to Your Halloween with These Spooky Cocktail Recipes

The countdown to Halloween is on! And while adults no longer have the privilege of trick-or-treating, we do have the privilege of being 21+! That means we can indulge in some boozy beverages that will make us forget that we can’t score free candy from strangers.

Bloody Carrie “Mix” (Created by Cody Goldstein of Muddling Memories, for SVEDKA)
2 oz Tomato Juice
1 oz Red bell pepper juice
2 tbl Horseradish
2 dashes Worchester
Pinch of sea salt & white pepper
Pinch of celery salt
5 dashes Tabasco
Few sprigs of Cilantro
Muddled Banana Peppers

2 oz Svedka Citron
.50 oz Lemon Juice

Combine 6 ounces of Bloody Mary “mix,” 1/2 oz of lemon juice and 2 ounces of vodka into shaker tin. Dry shake and strain into collins glass with fresh ice. Garnish with celery stalk, banana peppers, cilantro sprig, and olives stuffed with salami. Eyeballs can be made with lychee stuffed with a blueberry.

1 ½ oz Midori Melon Liqueur
½ oz Malibu Coconut Rum
½ oz Lime Juice
½ oz Pineapple Juice
½ oz Orgeat Syrup

Are You Afraid of the Dark? (Created by Cody Goldstein of Muddling Memories, for SVEDKA)
2 oz Svedka Clementine Vodka
2 oz Black Tea
1 oz Caramelized Pineapple-Vanilla Syrup
2 dashes Angostura Bitters

Add all ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 10 seconds. Strain into a collins glass over fresh ice. Garnish with cinnamon foam.

Candy Corn Mimosa (Courtesy of Spindrift)
1/4 c. sugar
Zest of 1 orange
3 cans Spindrift Orange Mango
1 (750-ml) bottle prosecco or champagne
Grenadine
Orange slices, for garnish

On a small shallow plate, stir together sugar and orange zest. Use an orange wedge to wet the rim of four glasses, then dip in sugar mixture. Fill each glass halfway with Spindrift, then top with prosecco or champagne. Finish with a splash of grenadine and an orange wedge for garnish.

Serves 2
3 ounces HI-CHEW Green Apple-Infused Applejack**
1.5 cups apple cider
1 ounce fresh lemon juice

In a small saucepan, heat the cider until hot. Remove from the heat, stir in the applejack and lemon juice, and divide between two mugs. Garnish with a lemon wheel and dried apple ring. **INFUSIONS: The infusion ratio is one piece of candy per ounce of liquor. Soak the candy until dissolved. *Booze-free option: Leave the booze out, garnish with a skewer of Green Apple HI-CHEW candies.

1.25 oz limited-edition The Walking Dead Straight Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey
2 oz lemonade
2 oz peach tea (sweetened or unsweetened to your liking)
mint and grilled peaches

Add 1.25 oz limited-edition The Walking Dead Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Pour 2 oz lemonade and 2 oz peach tea (sweetened or unsweetened to your taste) – into a pint glass filled with ice. Gently stir and garnish with a bundle of mint and 3 grilled peaches.
