Brew Up One (or More) of These Spooky Drinks for Halloween

All Hallow’s Eve is tomorrow and for those celebrating, it’s important to brew up something spectacular to drink and impress your friends. From sinister sips to potent punches, here are some sinfully delicious cocktails to get you through spooky season.

Candy Corn Punch
2 oz. Proper No. Twelve
Splash of sour mix
top with blood orange juice

In a Collins glass, pour 2 oz Proper No. Twelve and a splash of sour mix over ice. Top with blood orange juice. Garnish with a fresh orange slice.

Strega Witchcraft
2 oz. Strega
Grapefruit cordial
½ Lemon juice
Basil
Orange
Grapefruit soda

Pour Strega, grapefruit cordial, and lemon juice into a shaker with ice cubes. Pour mixture into a glass full of ice and fill with grapefruit soda. Garnish with basil and orange.

Blood Moon
1 ½ oz. BACARDÍ Superior
½ oz. Monin Blood Orange Syrup
½ oz. Lime Juice
2 oz. Ginger Beer
Blood Orange Slice
Amarena Cherry

Combine BACARDÍ Superior, blood orange syrup, and lime juice. Shake vigorously with ice. Strain into a highball glass and top with ginger beer. Garnish with a blood orange slice and cherry.

Madman Mule
1.5 oz. Vodka
1 oz. Pomegranate Juice
.5 oz. Lemon Juice
4 oz. Q Ginger Beer

Build drink in a highball glass filled with ice.

1 oz. Tommy Cask-Strength Bourbon Barrel Gin NY
1 oz. Bruto Americano CA
0.5 oz. Bully Boy Amaro MA
0.5 oz. Partner Artisanal Sweet Vermouth ca
1 pc orange wheel halved
1 pc skull ice sphere
1 glass oversized coop or Martini glass
Garnish: 2 pcs dried or fresh fig slice
(optional) Mesquite glass dome cloche-smoke and smoke box

In a mixing glass stir together liquid ingredients on ice. Place halved orange wheel into the bottom of an oversized Coop or Martini Glass. Place the Skull Cube on top using the orange as a pedestal to keep it upright. Pour the mixture over the skull cube. Garnish with fig slice. (Optional) Place into smoking cloche and smoke.

Dracula’s Dramble
2 ½ oz. Dewar’s 12 year old
1 ⅓ oz. Lemon Juice
⅔ oz. sugar syrup
½ oz. Crème de Mûre

Add all ingredients (without crème de mure) to glass. Fill with crushed ice, stir, and swizzle. Top with more crushed ice, then drizzle crème de mure on top.

A Vampire’s Kiss 
1 ½ oz. Kōloa Kaua’i Gold Rum
4 oz. tart cherry juice
½ oz. lime juice
½ oz. simple syrup
4 oz. sparkling water
Ice
Garnish with dry ice (optional)

Add ingredients (except soda water) into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously for 20 seconds until shaker is frosty, then strain ingredients into a glass with ice. Top with soda water and stir. For an extra spooky effect, use dry ice. Remember to follow instructions when using dry ice, use gloves and tongs to handle dry ice and do not ingest dry ice. Enjoy!

1.5 oz. Tito’s Vodka
.5 oz. Lemon Juice
.5 oz. Lavender Simple Syrup
.25 oz. Hibiscus Simple Syrup for color

Shake all ingredients and strain into coupe. Smoke with oak chips using a smoking kit & serve.
For the Syrups: Prepare Lavender Simple Syrup by adding 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of water and ½ cup of lavender to a saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves. Reduce heat and let simmer for a minute then remove from heat and let syrup steep and cool. Strain to remove the herbs. Follow the same process to prepare the Hibiscus Simple Syrup using 1/2 cup dried hibiscus instead of lavender.

1 oz. Aperol
1 oz. Solerno
1 oz. Espolon Silver
.75 oz. lime juice
.5 oz. simple syrup
Red dye to color

Combine all ingredients and stir together, then “inject” into the IV Bags for serving.

Frankenlime Collins
1.5 oz. Gin
.25 oz. Midori
.5 oz. Lime Juice
5 oz. Q Spectacular Tonic
1 Lime Peel

Shake all ingredients except the Q Spectacular Tonic and strain into a large glass mug. Top with chilled Q Spectacular Tonic Water and garnish with a lime peel.

1 oz. Camarena Silver Tequila
0.5 oz. Grand Marnier
1.25 oz. Finest Call Margarita Mix
0.75 oz. Agave Nectar
Dash Activated Charcoal
Garnish: Black Salt, Lime Wedge

Rim glass with Black Salt and set aside. Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and strain over fresh ice in Black Salt-rimmed glass. Garnish and serve.

Beetle Juice
1.5 oz. Espolon Blanco tequila
0.75 oz. Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge
0.75 oz. Orange Juice
0.5 oz. Lime Juice
0.5 oz. Beet Syrup

Add all ingredients to tin and shake with ice. Strain into a double old fashioned glass over fresh ice. Garnish with an orange half moon.

1 1/2 oz. Corazon Blanco Tequila
1/2 oz. Mindoro Melon Liqueur
1/2 oz. Pineapple Juice
3/4 oz. Fresh Yuzu Juice
1/2 oz. simple syrup
House-made black sesame salt rim
Dry ice

Combine all ingredients and stir/shake together, then pour over dry ice and garnish with spooky items of choice.

Pumpkin Daiquiri
1.5 oz. Bayou White Rum
1 oz. Pumpkin puree
1 oz. Orange juice
Fresh lime

Add all ingredients to a shaker. Shake well with ice and strain into a chilled coup. Garnish with
orange slice and sprinkle with cinnamon, nutmeg, & whole cloves.
