Hand Crafted Cocktail Dinner at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse!

Ruth's Chris Thursday, August 22, 2013, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse hosted a Five Course Hand Crafted Cocktail dinner sponsored by William Grant & Sons and Mount Gay Rum. The National Sales Manager and Mount Gay Brand Ambassador were present to assist with cocktails and enjoy a lovely dinner with guests.

French 75Ahi Tuna

The menu was exceptional, and consisted of an Ahi Tuna Steak paired with a French Quarter 75, a Summer Melon Salad with a Ruby Red Grapefruit and Basil Martini, and Seared Scallops with a Blackberry Sidecar! The tuna was fresh and delicious and intertwined perfectly with ripe mango, avocado, and house-made tortilla chips. The scallops and melon salad were the perfect second and third course and kept your mouth watering with every bite. For the fourth course guests were served the famous Ruth’s Chris Filet Mignon, which as always, was cooked to perfection. Alongside the filet was a Crab Cake and Pecan Crusted Sweet Potato Casserole. Paired with this course was an Apricot Sour, and a delicious one at that! Finally, as if guests weren’t already stuffed, dessert arrived and it was the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. Coconut-Pineapple Bread Pudding with Spiced Rum Crème Anglaise served with a Mount Gay Iced Coffee; pure bliss!
