Lower East Side Buzz: Circolo45 is Reinvented

by

Circolo45

There’s been a new buzz on the Lower East Side about Circolo being reinvented. This is true, Circolo45 is back and has quite a new look! As you walk in, you notice a nice marble bar and spirit selection. The tables are dressed with white linen, and the lights moderately dimmed, creating a soothing ambiance that’s enticing and relaxing.

The menu items are very creative, with traditional and fusion inspired appetizers. Just some of the items include, Shredded Veal Cheek over home made Rigatoni, Beet Salad with fresh Goat Cheese, and Octopus with Roasted Tomatoes. The dishes are all cooked perfectly, even the salmon, which was juicy, flavorful, and the star of that plate. The Beef Tartar packs the perfect punch with a tangy mustard intertwined with the raw filet mignon. As for the Octopus, which was meaty, charred, and delicious, it made for the favorite of all the appetizers that evening.

The dishes may be heavenly, but the wines are also worth a mention. The wine by the glass selection is very nice and includes wines that will pair very well with the meals. The server knew a nice amount of information about the wines, which was refreshing, because for the consumer who doesn’t know how to pair, she would be a wonderful help.

For a great meal, good time, and a nice selection of wine, head to Circolo45. This Italian restaurant should be a must visit on your dining destination list!

Circolo45 is located at 45 Bond Street.
