This Saturday, March 8th, kicks off an awesome “Stone Street” bar crawl! The New York Shakespeare Exchange is at it again with this year’s ShakesBEER NYC event! Starting at Bavaria Bierhaus, this crawl will continue to Ulysses, Dubliner, then to Route 66 Smokehouse! For $45 you get 4 drink tickets redeemable for beer, wine, or cocktails. Check-in begins at 2:30 and the crawl starts at 3PM. Not only is this event a fun and exciting way to try four bars and experience some poetic culture in the Financial District, but it’s also a great time with fun friends and new people.

Because this three-hour crawl is called ShakesBEER, you know it’s not just about the beer…they had to add in some acting. You will be up close and personal with the actors, giving you a one of a kind experience. A Shakespeare scene will be breaking out at each bar location. This theatrical performance offers Shakespearean poetry in a contemporary setting great for a new crowd and anyone who enjoys great beer. The goal of the New York Shakespeare Exchange is to expand this art form with new and existing audiences, and what better way to do it than through a pub-crawl!

Additional bar crawls throughout the year are set for April 12, May 31, June 7, August 9 & 16, October 4 & 11, and December 6, with neighborhoods and bars to be announced. Tickets can be purchased here.
