An extraordinary show on September 7th, Gotham Burlesque at Stage 72, will be welcoming “The Young Elizabeth Taylor of Burlesque.” Tansy, as she’s known on stage, is the main headliner of this sexy, sultry and alluring performance. The show, which is hosted by soprano Shelly Watson has a full bill of talented female entertainers. The list includes Miss Coney Island BB Heart, Hula-Hoopist Extraordinaire Justina Flash Francine, “The Lucid Dream,” One Woman Riot Minnie Tonka, Master Juggler Jen Slaw, the “Twisted Beauty of Burlesque” Dangrr Doll, “Burlesque Performer with a Twist” Mr. Gorgeous and stage manager Bambi Galore. The Burlesque troupe is presented by award-winning filmmaker, producer, and artist Gary Beeber. Beeber’s work includes documentaries such as Dirty Martini & the New Burlesque and Bully Master, as well as plenty of other cinema projects which have been featured in over 50 screening festivals. Prior to focusing on his documentarian work, Beeber was a photographer and video producer for numerous art galleries. His previous work has been showcased in over 70 exhibitions worldwide, and some of his art is stored in corporate collections in NYC such as Goldman Sachs and Pfizer Pharmaceutical. Gotham Burlesque plays Stage 72 each month offering shows with different casts each time. The venue offers audiences a large array of live entertainment, which include both novice and established performers alike. The burlesque performance includes a talented list of artists and is sure to be both intimate and rousing.
