There’s Nothing Scary About Switching to Verizon FiOS

by

For all you New Yorkers still using Time Warner Cable…what’re you waiting for?! When I used that service, my cable cut in and out all the time and my internet was slow. Verizon FiOS uses fiber optics to give you the fastest internet speed and it also has plenty of TV channels and the best on demand selection I’ve seen. Plus, you can watch your favorite shows and movies on the go, anywhere you are! And making the switch is easy, so there’s nothing to be scared of…

Except for all of the bone chilling scary movies and TV shows you can now watch! With Halloween right around the corner, it’s the perfect time to hunker down with a glass of wine and queue up one of these haunting tales:

The Conjuring 2

The sequel to The Conjuring picks up right where the first one left off. Starring Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson, they set out as the Warrens to help a family rid itself of a demonic presence. It’s filled with classic jumps and scares, but we couldn’t get the haunting real life tape recording at the end of the film out of our minds!
Suggested Pairing: Evil Cabernet

The Shallows

It may seem more like a summer flick, but any tale of a deadly shark hunting you in the water is sure to get your adrenaline pumping. Besides, sometimes when it’s cold you, you need to look at a beautiful beach to daydream (or nightmare) about. Starring Blake Lively, this movie follows a young girl who gets stranded on a rock close to shore, with a monster shark on the hunt.
Suggested Pairing: Greg Norman Shark Red

The Exorcist

This brand new TV show is already making waves on FOX. Based on the original movie of the same name and novel by William Peter Blatty, the show stars Alfonso Herrera, Ben Daniels and Geena Davis. Suspecting demon activity in her home, Angela Rance calls upon two priests to help against this evil entity.
Suggested Pairing: Apothic Inferno

Bates Motel
