Goodfella’s Comes To Gramercy!

Really delicious, home-style Italian cuisine has come to Gramercy, and we know it’s here to stay! Goodfella’s on Second Avenue surely wins its customers over with homemade pizzas, mouthwatering appetizers, crispy garlic bread, and of course, a very nice wine selection featuring some of Italy’s great producers (and even Lebanese wine)! The hugely successful restaurant, which already has locations in Staten Island, New Jersey, and the Lower East Side, welcomes an additional location to their repertoire, making us New Yorkers very happy.

Christos Thrappas, a partner, is a charming man, full of life and passion, who has no problem walking his customers through the menu and suggesting the best items. It is, however, very hard to choose just one menu item for lunch or dinner because the aromas of fresh, brick oven pizza flood the restaurant, while the view of fried calamari and fresh baked garlic bread swarm tables and look so enticing.

Their pizza is tossed right before your eyes and layered with homemade sauce, fresh mozzarella, and toppings of your choice. If you choose one of the chef’s creations, such as the vodka pizza, you will fall in love. This pizza is awesome–made with fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, and vodka sauce–you should not pass this one up! If you’re in the mood for something traditional, however, their Original Pizza is wonderful, while their Shrimp Parmesan and angel hair will keep you fully satisfied.

Head over to Goodfella’s for lunch or dinner, open 7 days a week; you will certainly enjoy this restaurant!

Goodfella’s is located at 391 Second Avenue.
